Chef Carlos Cardoso

Born in Cascais, Chef Carlos Cardoso has always lived closely with the kitchen as he grew up in a family of cooks. From an early age, aromas, textures and tastes attracted him to the kitchen.

The great milestone of his culinary evolution came at the age of 20 when he met his mentor, Chef Vincent Farges, in Fortaleza do Guincho with a Michelin star.

He worked with some of the best chefs and restaurants in Portugal, where he highlights José Avillez, who considers himself a visionary and whose junior sub-chef was at the Tavares restaurant, also with a Michelin star, and as a great reference Chef Pascal Meynard at the Hotel Ritz Four Seasons in Lisbon.

River Lounge

The pleasures of life with a dream view.

With a unique and contemporary atmosphere, with a diverse range of textures and shapes, the River Lounge is a singular space in Lisbon.

Open daily, the River Lounge Restaurant and Bar has a superb signature cuisine with Mediterranean influences is accompanied by a careful selection of Portuguese wines.

The originality of the space and its diverse gastronomic offer makes it the perfect spot for a business lunch, an casual dinner, an evening cocktail with friends or a soothing tea. On sunny days, the outdoor terrace is the ideal place for a drink overlooking the Tagus estuary.

From 7:00 p.m., the space invites you to stay a little longer with the beginning of musical entertainment. Cigar lovers also have a dedicated space at the River Lounge: the Cigar Lounge, which offers an eclectic selection of cigars and cigarillos.

 

Breakfast 
Breakfast at Myriad by SANA Hotels is served at the River Lounge. For a perfect start to your day, the buffet includes a wide selection of breads and pastries, fresh fruit and a hot and cold buffet. American Buffet and Light Buffet available.

  • Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
    Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Lunch 
Near an important business centre in Lisbon, the River Lounge is the ideal restaurant for refined business lunches. Choose between the privileged views of the Tagus River, or a more private setting.

  • Every day, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Dinner 
The River Lounge Restaurant rests on the ground floor of the Myriad by SANA Hotels. The soul of the restaurant is found in the Mediterranean flavours. Immerse yourself in the à la carte suggestions accompanied by a carefully selected Portuguese wine.
